Overview:
This position involves providing technical support and maintenance for clients
Technician will diagnose and resolve technical issues, install and configure hardware and software
Provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
Monitor systems and networks for issues and performance.
Document technical solutions and procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Escalate issues to senior technicians as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Maintain and update ticketing system.

Qualifications :
5+ years of proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Experience in using RMM and PSA tools
Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus

Job Summary:
The IT Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires travel to various client locations to address break-fix scenarios, perform installations, and conduct maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
● Travel to client sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve IT-related issues, including
hardware failures, software malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
● Perform hands-on repair and replacement of faulty components for desktops, laptops,
servers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
● Install and configure new hardware, software, and network components as required by
client projects or service requests.
● Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before
they cause downtime.
● Utilize various diagnostic tools and techniques to efficiently identify the root cause of IT
problems.
● Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, installations, and configurations,
including detailed descriptions of issues and resolutions.
● Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on problem status, estimated
resolution times, and clear explanations of technical issues.
● Manage and track spare parts and equipment needed for field service operations.
● Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or specialists as
necessary.
● Ensure all service requests are handled within defined Service Level Agreements
(SLAs).
● Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members.

Qualifications:
● Proven experience 5+ years in IT field service or a similar technical support role.
● Good expertise in desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common business
applications.
● Strong experience in Server operating systems (Windows) and common business
applications.
● Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and repair (servers, desktops, laptops, printers,
networking devices like switches).
● Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
● Familiarity with server hardware and server administration is a plus.
● Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Customer-focused with a professional and friendly demeanor.
● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
● High degree of adaptability and ability to work in dynamic environments.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
● Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
● Willingness to travel extensively to client sites.
● Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if required for urgent issues
